Here's the map from Bad Aibling (green "Start"), where Jim used to live, to Ansbach (red "End"), where Janet, Danielle, and Marie are. Bad Aibling is right by the Alps, about 30 minutes from Munich and 60 minutes from Salzburg. It took us about 2.5 hours to get to Ansbach from the Frankfurt airport and a little over an hour from the base in Wurzburg--between Ansbach and Frankfurt. Nurnberg is about 30 minutes from here--we go there for church broadcasts and stake meetings (General Conference broadcast in English, etc.). Below is a map showing SOME of the castles around here. We'll have our weekends for the next twenty years filled with sightseeing trips!! Colmberg is the closest and where the seniors like to have their prom.
